Director Sales and Business Development EMEA (f/m/d)
Your Tasks
- Lead a team of regional sales managers to drive revenue growth by aligning regional strategies with organizational goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities — conducting research, analysing market trends, and using data to uncover growth areas and competitive advantages.
- Plan and execute regional business strategies — including market penetration plans & business acquisition strategies based on ongoing market assessments.
- Lead relationship-building efforts — maintaining strong relationships with existing and new potential clients to expand the regional network.
- Manage lead generation and pipeline development — overseeing activities that generate new opportunities, including OEM or partner leads, and ensuring CRM systems are used effectively.
- Promote products and services — work closely with product marketing colleagues in communicating value propositions & business case models clearly to clients and partners.
- Develop short‑term forecasts— create weekly, monthly, and quarterly projections for revenue, pipeline health, lead flow, and regional performance based on current data, market signals, and sales activity.
- Serve as a bridge between the regional teams and corporate leadership, ensuring alignment and accountability.
Your Profile
- Strong leadership and team‑management capabilities
- Proven track record in B2B strategic sales, ideally within the clean energy, battery electrification or power electronics sectors.
- Strong understanding of the EV charging & battery energy storage systems (BESS) or related industry sectors is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills in English, across all hierarchical levels of the customer, are essential; additional languages are desirable
- Ability to manage budgets and prepare consolidated forecasts.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- You have completed a technical or commercial vocational training, or hold an academic degree in engineering, industrial engineering, or business administration with a strong technical focus.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
